Immerse yourself in a concert fueled by lovers and romance for Valentine’s Day, brought to us by Berlioz via his Overture to Béatrice et Bénédict and Tchaikovsky in his lavish Romeo and Juliet Overture-Fantasy. Two equally celebrated lovers, Pelléas and Mélisande, appear in the suite from Fauré’s exquisite incidental music. For a break from all that amour, the program features Dvořák’s captivating Violin Concerto with soloist Karen Gomyo.
